Need info on Club Cal-Neva hoard...

Hi folks, I am new to the site and hope I learn a lot from you people here.

Here's my question....does anyone have any information on a hoard called the Club Cal-Neva Collection? I have recently picked up 3 graded morgans from this so called recent find. The cost I laid out for these was not what the coins were worth, though I was given a guarantee of refund if I wasn't satisfied. Right now I'm not, I don't see the worth I paid for them unless someone can tell me they have potential. To me a Morgan is a Morgan, no matter where it came from.

Thanks for all replies. Hide

Well, I've never heard of the "Club Cal-Nevada Collection" (but then I'm not really into Morgans), but, generally speaking, only the most famous pedigrees (such as Eliasberg) bring any premium.

By the way, which service slabbed your coins?

Hi Hide. Hi-dee-ho & welcome. hi.gif I've never heard of the Club Cal-Neva Collection; but, that's not the first thing I've never heard of.

I would imagine that many of the old casinos did the same as Binion's, Fitzgerald's and, yes, Cal-Neva when the U.S. changed from silver to clad coinage. Maybe there are other old warehouses scattered throughout Nevada where the gambling barons stashed their hoards.

Never heard of it. You are not happy with them and feel like you paid too much. Don't even stop for a coke on the way to return them. You will always feel cheated, so just send them back. Buy something you like smile.gifwink.gif
