Attractive toning on early copper isn't common...

Hayden - I don't see a lot of toning - but it looks like maybe it was cleaned a long time ago and now it's retoned with a touch of color - Old time collectors did lots of strange stuff ot copper to clean it and then even re-tone it - THere's some interesting "receipes" in SHeldon's "Penny Whimsey" book
