Yes, I think they are milling marks. I just wish that pictures could replicate the absolutely incredible eye appeal this coin has. My dealer handed it to me and I just about melted. I've rarely seen an original one this nice. The strike throughout this coin is very strong, all shield details, toes, and stars are extremely well struck. EVP, this coin would most certainly make the "FS" grade we've been discussing lately. Sorry I forgot to give the grade; it's a PCGS MS65FH.

It is a beautiful coin! It looks like it has a slight rose tone. Is this in fact the case or is it from the photo? Isn’t it a great feeling to be able to add a coin like this to your collection?

I see what you mean about the rose toning, but it doesn't have that on the coin. I'm thinking it is a reflection on the plastic? And yes, it's a real cool feeling adding a coin like this to my collection!
