Checking NGC certification numbers

8 posts in this topic

I would like to confirm the validity of an NGC cert. no. on a coin that is currently up for auction -- just a little investigation to protect against possible fraud. Is there a feature on the NGC website that allows this kind of check? I've looked without success . . . confused-smiley-013.gif

On the main page under "Coins" there is a cert# look-up line. This will verify the serial #, denomination, date, MM and grade.

Can you supply a link to this?
