How can I speed up the toning on a cleaned gold coin????

I received a St. Gaudens coin that has been cleaned and is bright.. Does any one know how to age or tone a coin quickly to make it look like it's 50 years old??

Soy sauce.

Basalmic vinegar.

Worcestershire sauce.

Mud (clay soil) bath.

A1 or Heinz 57.

Magic Marker (good for adding spectacular "toning" too).

I had read, set it on the window sill in the sun. Thought you guys might have a good tip other than the FUNNY??? sugestions made.......

Other than ways considered unacceptable, there are not any good ways to speed up the toning. The window sill method requires you to put the coin in a reactive envelope or on some sort of reactive material. Best solution - leave the coin alone.
