US-Phillipine coins

Look to the left of the date for the letter S. This is a mintmark. It indicates your coin was minted in San Francisco, California. Look very closely at the letter S, maybe with a magnifying glass. Does it look like 2 letters S, one over the other?

This S over S is worth $12 to $225 depending on the grade or condition of the coin.

A non S over S lists for between $3 and $175, again depending on the grade.

Your coin is made of .750 silver with an actual silver weight of 0.0965 oz. It is one of 949,000 minted in 1913.
