How many "micro O" Morgans did NGC grade?

I was curious since they're not listed in the Cenus anymore,but I just checked now so I don't know if they were before.Also didn't NGC indentify them as counterfiets about a year before PCGS stopped grading them? Did ICG and ANACS stop when PCGS stopped?

NGC had a suspicion about them and a year earlier decided not to grade them due to questionable authenticity. Both ANACS and ICG stopped when they got the news. To this date not many have been returned. However THERE ARE NO MORE IN ICG HOLDERS. icg had graded I believe four or five. ICG attempted to contact the owners of all the coins.They were sucessful and somebody who has a recnt CW can read the story and give info on that. They have had a few articles in CW about all the different services stance and a followup about them being returned.

Hayden-----Somewhere I read it----may have been CW---seems to me that the number 8 for NGC sticks in my mind. But it could have been an even lower number. As I remember, ANACS had over 200 coins and stood to loose the most. This is not a certain answer----but it is what I seem to remember. Bob [supertooth]

In Yesterday's CW it said that ANACS had graded 66 I think.It makes you wonder how many other counterfeits are in the "Expert's" holders...

Yes,my exact thoughts and it's even worse that they graded not one but several hundred!!! From what I heard these counterfeits were just made to circulate and not to fool collectors.Good grief!!! The top-3 and the wannabe(ICG) are going to put ACG to shame!!!

SEGS street trash I think SEGS has there little cog in the wheel of grading. They will certify just about anything. Besides I have a free grading voucher from them. *Therefor they are only a step or two from street trash.*

Well I know they'll slab concept coins ,but I don't know about your Tootsie dollar. I guess it would never hurt to try. I'm sure ACG would grade it for you.
