Some Heritage ANA auction statistics

6 posts in this topic

Out of 3502 Heritage auction lots, 2697 sold, or 77%. Not great, but not too bad. The commems did poorly, 48 of 117 remained unsold, or a buyback rate of 41%. However, the very cool Charles Moore Proof Pan Pac commem set sold for $368K. thumbsup2.gif

I was watching about thirty Heritage auction lots but by the time reserves were posted my list was down to just a few lots. Near closing the high bids on these few lots was already above my max bids except for one lot on which I bid and ended up being the underbidder. frown.gif

For the lots I was following about 25% went unsold.

Mozin, this is somewhat related:

question:

How would one search prior e-bay auctions for prices garnered?

More specifically the following item: Charles M. Russell Commemorative Pewter Buckle Set .

I had bought three different sets in the late '80's and have always been curious of the secondary market and would like to find some previous prices realized. Thanks!

Unfortunately Ebay does not give us access to such archived info, only recent auction lots. I could find nothing pertinent to your wants.
