you have to it the image code insert in the bottom.... you also have to load the pic somwhere then you can copy and paste it.

I admit - I can't figure this out also. When I click on the image button at the bottom - it prompts me to enter the full URL and it looks like it wants to go to a web site ?? Is there anyway I can paste pics that I have stored on my hard drive ? I can't imagine its difficult - I just can't figure out. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Use the URL method if you already have the picture hosted on another site. If you want to just add a picture to your post, then after you type the post click the box below that says "I want to preview my post and/or attach a file" before you click "Continue" Then you can browse to the picture on your hard drive.

 

The image will become an attachment. If you want it to show up in the post you need to open the attachment, copy the URL, edit your post and add it with the URL button.

 

I beleive attachments are limited to 150K. If you are hosting the image elsewhere there is no limit, other than irritating dial-uppers with your 5 Meg picture.

The easiest way is to use a photo hosting website. I use Photobucket.com. You upload your pic from your computer to their website, then just copy and paste the URL. So much easier and no need to worry about the size.
