Electrotype USA Bar Cent Very Fine

I came across this in Superior's current auction. The Bar Cent is raw. What is meant by "Electrotype" ? Lot 0778 Thanks,

Electrotype is a copy of the original coin using dies that were made from an original coin surface either contemporarily or later in time.

Surprised they would sell an electrotype copy. But then again I heard that many have a hard enough time differentiating between the real ones and the fakes. So it's nice to know what it is.

I could see them selling an electrotype of this coin.... it is extreamly rare and valuable, so there will be people wanted to fill the hole in thier collections.
