The Lot Nr. I won from Heritage is now invalid. Has this ever happened to you?

I won lot nr. 6121, 1893-S $1 PCGS G6..no reserve..in Heritage's last Signature Auction (#380). I saw that I won via the live feed on their auction site. Next day I checked "My Invoices" on their website and sure enough there's an invoice showing that I won. When I click on the invoice nr. I go to the next page showing the lot nr. and the item description...now the problem...

 

Under the description are the letters "DNE". If I click on either the lot nr. or DNE I go to a page that says.."Invalid Lot, The lot number you entered is invalid for the 2005 New York, NY Signature Auction." I went to the auction archives and the lot is not listed. I found another 1893-S $ that has sold and looked at "Other prices realized for the item" and it is not listed. I went to the email saying I was high bidder and clicked on the lot nr. and I go to the Invalid Page. Also, I still haven't received a email from them about winning.

 

Anybody have any ideas? What does "DNE" stand for? Do Not Enter? Did Not Enter? confused.gif

I once lost an auction by Heritage but then was later sent a bill saying that I won. It was a Pan-Pac gold dollar. Strange. Someone must have forfeit the auction.

Maybe I'm starting to let my imagination run, but something tells me I'm not going to be very happy when I get off the phone with them tomorrow.

i had A TERRIBLE unfortunate experience with their auction dept extremely stressful and many promises NOT KEPT

 

maybe i caught them on a bad day confused-smiley-013.gif and i am sure they have achieved great results thumbsup2.gif for hundreds of consigners 893applaud-thumb.gif and buyers likewise 893applaud-thumb.gif

My problem was fixed. Apparently there were several lots like mine that did not make it into the archives as sold and have been corrected now.
