I think these are really underappreciated by collectors for some reason. Oh well, more for me grin.gif

those are very nice looking.

I've been watching and watching for years for a nice VF-AUish 1885. Tough coin.

Many of the Liberty Nickels are dull and without luster. It is challenging to find nice examples with full luster. Here are a few other Lib. Nickels (first: attached MS66-'83 no cents).

all these liberty nicks have great eye appeal and are extremely scarce coins with these colors and biz strikes

wild!! cloud9.gif

they are terribly undervalued sleeper coins looking like this and again being biz strikes

these sleeping giants and others pre 1915 will soon awaken

but it is a process for the new and re-entering collectors young and not so young to climb the mountain to the holy grail so to speak and at the top of the mountain it is a journey through many different harsh experiences in coins to finally get to the top

and at the top you will find all these colored lib nicks

along with pre 1915 circ cloud9.gif mintstate thumbsup2.gif proof 893applaud-thumb.gif coins

coins like life is a journey not a guided tour

I love the subtlety of the 1883. It looks golden. The 1887 is also very subtle, at least in the picture. 1905 has some really great colors. 1912 is really popping out.

Thanks so much for posting... even if they were not your images.
