zman3333
I have had to have a few PCGS slabs verified for inclusion in the NGC Registry over the past month. Some of my submissions have continually been skipped. I currently have waiting: Cert # Date Added 49618286 8/27/2024 29211712 9/6/2024 36840684 9/6/2024 45629467 9/6/2024 45540807 9/7/2024 45050807 9/8/2024 35359473 9/9/2024 32180977 9/10/2024 49199297 9/10/2024 34345061 9/10/2024 The coin from 8/27 has been waiting for 15 days. How do I get this cleared up?
Administrator Ali E. Posted September 10 Administrator Share Posted September 10 Hello @zman3333. All PCGS coins are processed in the order they are received. The coin, 49618286, is registered to you; it is in your coin inventory. You may add it to any appropriate sets you wish. You will need to log into your account to view this: https://www.ngccoin.com/profile/221194/coins/ Approval is done for each PCGS coin one-by-one. Given the volume of coins we process on a daily basis, it can take a week or more for approval for a PCGS coin. We also had Monday, Labor Day holiday. Our offices are closed on the weekends and during a holiday. Thank you for your patience. Please email our team at registry@NGCcoin.com with other questions about your coins. We are happy to assist. Thank you.
Fly A Kite
Hello. I submitted a PCGS for cross under the wrong level (Economy). I did not realize the value would be important on a cross. It did not cross with no explanation. Is it possible that it did not cross because of the incorrect submission level?
Sandon
@Fly A Kite--Welcome to the NGC chat board. If you wanted a response from the NGC staff, the "Ask NGC/NCS" forum would have been the best place to post this question, which also should have been posted as a new topic. Hopefully, @Ali E., the Registry Administrator, will be able to obtain this information. In my experience, if coins are submitted are found to have a significantly higher market value than allowed by the tier in which they were submitted, NGC charges the grading fee for the appropriate tier. The failure of your PCGS coin to "cross" likely had nothing to do with the tier you chose.
