CoinStar Find

4 posts in this topic

While on a quick trip to the grocery store, I noticed that the reject tray of the Coin Star machine had a lot in it.

Today's score: 95 cents in change, a 1989 Swiss 5 rappen (centime) piece and a 1953-D dime!

It's always nice to find silver! grin.gif

Silver is always nice. I sometimes wonder how that foreign stuff ends up in common places like that. I know there are many ways but always curious as to the story. I've gotten over a dozen or so canadian nickels. Still haven't figured out what to do with them.

nwcs: I save my Canadian change for when I go on vacation to Canada! (It's nice there!)

Tom: I don't think I'll ever forget that, either! I still have the coin and I have a nice profit in it, since we found the coin when gold was about $325.
