Submission results!!

I received my GSA 1884CC Morgan today! The grade came back MS63!! No PL like I was hoping. But that's ok. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with the results.

This is the first time I have seen what the holder looks like after NGC grades these and I like it. Thanks for posting the photo.

Yeah, THe cert is pretty cool. You can't really see it in the photo, but around the band, it has 63 spelled out. I really like the look.

I guess it got a 63 because it has some small marks on liberty's cheek and neck. Also if you tilt it just right, you can see a tiny bit of crud on it. Other than that it's a beautiful coin.

 

I just got finished adding it to the registry. Just waiting for it to be finalized. This will be my first number one set. Of course it's easy to have the number one set when you're the only one that has a coin in the category.

 

The security features on the cert are amazing! At the top and bottom of the band it looks like there is a white line going around it, but on closer inspection you can see it says NGC over and over again. Very nice.

Wow, it looks awesome. The PL is probably hard to designate in the holder because the case is in the way.

It was just added to the registry today!!!

 

There seems to be a mistake in the 20th century type sets, though. It listed my CC morgan as a $20 liberty!
