I see the word Roma on the back of the coin so it has to be a Roman coin my guess is it's a Roman republic coin or a coin just as  the Roman empire.became the Roman Catholic Church or it could even be an early coin of the Roman Catholic Church it would be called a coin of the papal state I'm very interested i hold interest in Roman coinage  because they are the past path of the Roman Catholic Church

   It appears that there is a date in Roman numerals on the reverse of this item. It is blurry but looks like MCMLXXI (1971). One of the buildings it shows is apparently St. Peter's Basilica in present day Rome (Vatican City). It's likely a Catholic medal of recent (twentieth century) origin.
