Popular Post Hoghead515
It would cost more than those would be worth to have graded. You could buy a nicer example already slabbed cheaper than what those would cost. By time you pay shipping and insurance and everything. They wouldnt grade high enough to justify the cost. Popular Post Coinbuf
If you enjoy throwing away money then sure you should, however, you'll get quicker gratification if you wad up three twenty dollar bills and light them on fire. Popular Post EagleRJO
I have heard that if the value of a coin is below about $300 you lose money by submitting it for grading, as there isn't enough of a value bump by being slabbed to cover the grading cost. In that case you are prolly better off just selling the coin raw. There are other considerations when deciding to submit coins for grading, such as it can then be used in Competitive Registry sets and thay are easier to sell, but not really for low value coins like these. J P M
The coins in the photos look like they are already in holders? Are they store bought or what we call basement slabs?
RWB
Why, why, why.....? You propose to spend $40 on each for a plastic holder for coins worth face value? Who or what is promoting this insanity? End of Rant.... Hate seeing people get pulled into wasting time and resources. VKurtB

Simple Collector
Pretty sure the 1955-d quarter is more than face value. Not enough value to get it graded though. Hoghead515

Awww....no, there's not enough clear space on my desk for that, and the walls are already bashed in from head wacking.
