date error in label 1980 instead 1979 1 1

I'm Miriam from Italy.
This modern medal for the centenary of NSW Zoological society of Australia in 1979 it is written in label 1980!
is this a mistake or are you checking the correct issue date?
Because I had no further information on the medal.

Thank you for your patience. I have received a reply from our graders. They have confirmed that the coin is correctly labeled as 1980. The Franklin Mint stamps the date on the coin and, in this case, the piece was struck in small numbers on the edge of the coin.
