Stephan Dushnick's book on Canadian silver dollars and Haxby's book on the Royal Canadian Mint ( Striking Impressions) are both good references, especially the latter.

I'd like to write another book on Canadian silver dollars, but I don't have the time to go through the RCM archives to do the research (or write up the results once my research was done).

Thanks for the replies. I have all the books mentioned which is about all you have to choose from. What I guess I meant to say is that aside from the silver dollar book and an olympic coin book (both need updates) there are no specialty books like on U.S. coins.Example: Buffalo nickels, Mercury dimes ect.. They seem so Interesting (canadian coins) that I am waiting for the Canadian equivilant of Walter Breen or Q.David Bowers to show up and start writing.
