Help with 1938 wheat penny error?

9 posts in this topic

Your coin has been counterstamped after it left the mint. Like JP said, it was done with a punch or press of some sort. It is not a mint error and is considered damaged. Value of 1 cent.

Can someone help me out with the value of this error print please? Thank you20220807_140354.thumb.jpg.35591a81f5da59752857fbdb9aa12518.jpg

Personally, i think it's awesome. I've only found about 6 counterstamped coins, so, i dig it! No extra value, except for what someone is willing to pay. Cool find.
