As well as silver, i also have the knack for finding impaired proofs, and W mint mark quarters. I find impaired proofs in all denominations though. Found this today.

Lower mintage than a W. I think this is the 4th of this reverse, I've found.

No problemo my friend. (thumbsu

Nothing wrong with a nothingburger, and as nothingburgers go those are some doozies. If I come across one you'll be the first to know. ;)

Back to work.

Thank you to @VKurtB and @Lem E for the title of my new thread. Took me long enough. I invite @Dano1969, as well, i hope you will join in. All are welcome, and i encourage everyone to post their daily finds, right here. All my finds are "circulation" finds, as compared to "change" finds. I'm also not a CRH, not enough volume. Anyway, found this about 45 minutes ago. Wanted to share with all six of you out there. As always, thanks for stopping by.

not bad for 106 years old.

Let’s see now. 1945+106=2051?

I knew I slept hard last night, but wow.

I think there's a term for people that know numbers. Well, I'm not one of those people. I took a shot in the dark on the years, i gotta admit. I'm only like 36 years off, or something like that.

But, @VKurtB, thanks for stopping by buddy. Means a lot.

I don’t CRH so my contributions to the thread may be light. Everything would be from change. I did get this last week. A true nothingburger here and according to CJox math, only 96 years old.

Like i talked back there, I'm no good with numbers, but I'm really really really really REALLY good with words. As they say in France, "I'm good with words.".

Aaaahhh... thank you @jtryka. Exactly what I'm looking for. Crazy what people leave behind. My local coinstar has been dry for months. Someone has clogged the reject tube with a paper towel, me thinks. But that '53 is saweet! P?D?S? Was there an S that year? Goes to show what i know. But thank you for swinging through and posting. Very cool of you.

I have no idea; I’ve never even given a Coinstar machine a second glance. Is the most common find foreign coins?

No, those newfangled, quite often mangled, cents.

Saved the most rare for last.

This is a very rare 2006 North Dakota gold quarter. Minted exclusively in Philadelphia, this beauty's value is unknown. Not many made it off the press, past stringent qc guidelines, AND made it through very tight security. Anyway, i have one now. Yippee!

Yes, two silver dimes and a week or two before that I got a silver quarter from the bank.
