January 1, 2026, the 250th Anniversary or Sestercentennial of the United States 🇺🇸 and only by an Act of Congress, much in the manner approval was sought and gained for issuance of the centennial Morgan and Peace dollars in 2021. All designs over 25 years old can technically be changed by the Secretary of the Treasury, but no SecTreas in our lifetime has had the guts to take on entrenched political power.
