What would they be testing?

I don't know, I'm just asking the question.  Testing coins or planchets on new dies?

I once, just for giggles, when I was leaving the house for about a week, left a brand new nickel, or as our newbie insists, nickle, because there is no right or wrong after all, running in my kid’s rock tumbler. It ended up similar looking to this Kennedy. But why should I ever bother trying stuff, ya know? Because these are the 2020’s and nobody actually does stuff anymore. They just start an account on a discussion board and ask people. Where the heck is my bag of needles? My eyes need poking. Hey, it’s more productive than this!
