1918 Farthing bright finish

3 posts in this topic

Are the bright finish coins significantly fewer?

I have some like this and they really stand out

Is this a value add or worth more than a toned coin in similar condition?

Any estimate of value?  Is it a valuable coin or another $20 coin?

To me it looks like it has been cleaned/polished.

Yes it does. That said, nice British coins immediately post-WW1 seem to be oddly common. Perhaps they were heavily hoarded? Check dealers’ 2x2 boxes of Great Britain coins. It’s not a tough era to find nicer pieces today. Many denominations, but especially the coppers.
