Crusin1
Hello folks! So I came across this coin at a yard sale, was just a sack of old coins from different places. Most were foreign except for this one. Tried to google it but could only come up with coins that almost looked like it but not exact. I am guessing it’s a duplicate of some sort since it doesn’t look gold. Looks kinda like a old penny color. I also weighed it on my food scale hehe was 27 grams. My question is the value, what could I expect from a dealer? If there’s any sort of market for a copy. Any history or way to tell how old it is? Thank you for any help with identifying and dates. Mr.Bill347
The first thing I noticed was that it wasn’t marked copy, which there are numerous numbers of. The one reference to it was Bonhams and I don’t want you to get excited about it before you find out if it is authentic, but the coin sold for $44,000 ! https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/21868/lot/1505/ my advice get it authenticated !
