Considering this Half is priced at about $12 bucks per the NGC price guide...... and then notice the "Seller information" on your picture which is ZERO feedback..... All adds up to a piece of ---- seller trying to pull something over on someone.  I can bet you this listing will be here for quite some time to come.

OH!! but wait a minute..... I just noticed "Moneda De Coleccoin"(Spanish) in this Ebay listing.  Maybe this coin brings more $$ in a different part of the world???? (but yet ships from the United States) Not to say a U.S. individual couldn't speak two languages...... But then again, maybe the individual listing this coin mistakenly put two extra zeros in their starting bid and didn't realize it.  Now it makes sense.....🙄

I actually reported him and his $300 1967 Kennedy Half to the mods today.  I'm hoping they can take that post down.  Such blatant highway robbery should violate some rule here, I hope.

It doesn't really violate any rules, shows some real stupidity on his part to put a listing like that on a forum of coin collectors.   I however have been seeing some similar (although less egregious) threads on the PCGS BST forum recently too.   I do hope the mods here will close out his thread in the marketplace but I kind of doubt it.

You make some very good points, Coinbuf.  I just thought I'd try....but you're probably right.  The post is extremely stupid, but it doesn't violate any rules.  Hopefully our responses to Researchcoins keep any newbies from buying his $300 1967 half dollar.
