I've collected both USA and UK coins for many years, and I find them mutually satisfying. Recently, I was asked to do a video program on this relationship: https://www.ngccoin.com/news/article/9467/ngc-pmg-at-london-festival-of-coins/

Any chance we’ll have an in-person Festival in 2022?

Awesome RWB! Funny, the city I live in was not yet founded when this coin was minted. Now population is 75,000!
in fact, Indiana had only been a state for 31 years! Thanks I’ll add it to my wish list for Santa Claus!

David, thank you for sharing that very informative video. Your knowledge is incomprehensible and I appreciate your comments.

Not to be confused with the Dork side of the Farce, collecting graded bullion coins.

I'd put labels in place of graded bullion and I don't necessarily disagree, but I'll always have a set or two or.... Not counting sovereigns, 746285617_1061539-Copy.jpg.c69241481f0fdbba1e022623f1dbc34d.jpgs, rooster_1f413.png.f46c058889d68e9d4afb27d921acf334.pngs and the like.

That is some very beautiful work done. The engraver or engravers should be proud.

Funny contrast. My home is smack dab in the middle of my town, but it is several years OLDER than the town. It is THE oldest home in the town, which used to be a farm, and was built by the town’s founder. One of the next oldest homes, just about 50 yards down the street, used to be a brothel. Priorities.

And he didn't post the reverse.

Thank you, dang, now I have to remake my label. I knew that, but screwed up the label.

Coronation crown of 1953. That Churchill looks pretty mark-free.

Funny you should say that. I am the Chair of Trustees at my church and last week some people came by wanting to use a metal detector on the grounds. My church is in the National Register of historical sites. Being  275 years old with a cemetery that people in the old days would put coins on the grave stones. So I would think there are colonial coins all over the place, if it has not been searched already. Needless to say I told them no. I think it would be a bit disrespectful.

At your leisure, sir. But be forewarned. There are scads of recent era construction debris pieces everywhere. It’s very far from a pristine site.
