1997 US Quarter 1 1

Hi Guys,

I'de like to know if this quarter worth morethan FV, it seems like the obverse has struck or flaw planchet  from Kennedy Dollar not sure though and the reverse having a die break ontop of the R 'dollar'  from east to west not sure though the exact terms, and  l just want to ask for help for better understanding bout this coin..

Sorry, but I only see scattered contact/circulation and discoloration due to environmental damage.

 

Recommendation - crimp the back of the staples.  If you stack or store the 2x2s with raised staples, there is a good chance of scratching your coins

The coin looks like it was stored in a can or jar with other change stacked on top of it and it discolored in areas, I see lots of half circles. but no die break or error

I'm just seeing an environmentally damaged, circulated and completely normal 1997-D quarter.  It's nothing worth collecting or anything like that.

Can't possibly be anything from a Kennedy dollar, they weren't even minted until 2015, 18 years after this quarter was minted.  I agree, looks like a normal, stained quarter.

Thanks Guys just curious on the shadow in the obverse if how is that happened so I think JP is right this coin might stacked other change on top of it for a while..
