Cresencio
Hi Guys, Just wondering if someone can help me figuring out the last digit or no. of the date of my coin? Thank you! Really appreciate...
Woods020
My guess would be 1926. The obverse seems to have been worn abnormally. The rims shouldn’t be worn that much without more wear on the obverse in general. In this shape it’s worth silver spot value essentially. 124Spider

Definitely looks like a 6 on the number in the date with heavy circulation wear especially on the reverse. The rim on the obverse has encroached on the T and Y of LIBERTY in my observation of your pics. Possibly a dryer coin......not likely as I'm not seeing any rounded edges,.... or just a very heavily circulated Mercury showing it's age and wear. Member: Seasoned Veteran Popular Post DWLange Posted August 23, 2021 Member: Seasoned Veteran Popular Post Share Posted August 23, 2021 It's 1920-D. The 1926 date has a closed loop to the 9, and the entire date nearly fits under the bust. Here's an explanation of why this was done: https://www.ngccoin.com/news/article/7012/ Coinbuf, RWB, Mohawk and 6 others 5
