Please help me identify this 1946 s/s quarter

Well, I know pretty much nothing about silver Washington Quarter varieties, but I can point you to a website that will help you immensely:

The website has variety information for all kinds of U.S. coins, not just silver Washingtons.  For someone who looks for U.S. varieties, as you appear to, this site is an excellent resource.

Looks like it may be FS-501. I’ll attach the link to Variety Vista to compare. Variety Vista is a good resource for variety attribution.

This works, too: NGCcoin.com/variety-plus.

So very true.  I just wasn't sure if this variety was too minor for NGC to attribute it.  Hence why I went with Variety Vista.  In the future, I will link both sites
