Just Bob
Welcome to the forum. The answer to your question depends on the denomination and year of the coin. Prior to 1980, coins minted at the mint in Philadelphia carried no mint mark. The only exception to this was the Jefferson nickels that were coined during WWll, and were made of a different composition than the previous and subsequent years. Between 1980 and 2017, Lincoln cents minted in Philadelphia also carried no mint mark. Edited March 27, 2021 by Just Bob Modwriter

You will need to come up with a new handle, though, as "George, Paul, Ringo, John, and Justbob" lacks a certain je ne sais quoi. But since his information wasn't completely correct there was no miracle, and I don't think he'll make it. I should have finished the thought, and said that it was a one-year-only event, to celebrate the 225th anniversary of the mint, and there were no P mint marks from 2018 forward. Oh well, no sainthood for Bob.
