Found an excellent looking 1948s penny that looks like it just came from the mint. any ideas?

Based on the photos, I would say it looks very ugly and even possibly damaged. But I'll allow that the photos could be deceptive. The obverse shot isn't straight on, there could be glare, what looks like crudulation could just be a lighting issue, etc.

Appears to have been pulled from circulation (as do the others in the photos). Not worth the cost of "authentication and grading."
