Bicentennial Satin Quarter

Many many 40% silver 1776-1976 quarters look exactly like this. They were originally sold in the red envelopes as a three coin set, with the dollar and the half dollar included. I have at least 10 like this, including the one in my Dansco album. Nothing special. But you do like to hype stuff, dontcha?

Come on guys, a collector found a coin they like.  Why rain on their parade?

It's a long parade with everyone out of step. The drum major is marching sideways in circles and there's a tuba player over in a flower garden.

Unfortunately, the OP has a history of posting counterfeits, unfounded claims, and other rubbish as if grand discoveries were being made weekly. Most members have grown (maybe "groan" is better) numb to this. Folks might be more tolerant if the OP simply posted a coin he liked and asked for feedback.

Many parades NEED some rain. Philadelphia’s Mummers Parade needs a storm of flaming meteors.

Fair enough.
