Picture Taking Suggestions Sought

7 posts in this topic

I had the same camera. Certainly not the best to image coins. I got a few good pix by going outside in the sun and then shooting them there by holding them in my hand. Low success rate but I got a few decent shots of half dollar coins. Then used adobe to crop 'em, etc.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I didn't think this was a great coin camera but otherwise I like what it does in general, but then it is my 1st.

I do have the advantage of a fairly bright room to work with. Being in Sunny FL I'm thinking outside light may actually be a little too bright for a shiny silver coin, no?

I use an easy share and I don't believe it was made for coin pics 27_laughing.gif

Make sure first you use the close up mode. Then see what kind of fllash or no flash works best. Then take the picture on a black piece of paper or felt. Use halogen lights or something of that nature. I a few hours I wil show you one of my pics using my camera. K thumbsup2.gif
