I have a couple of silver Canadian coins and cant tell what the date is on George  V but I just know it's silver. Pretty cool to have these.

Your right, it's not a 1 so it has to be a 2 or 3, but it looks like it may be a 3. They both are 80% silver. The 1953 quarter is the Shoulder Fold Small Date Variety if you want to mark it.

Thank you greenstang,  I hope I'm not overwhelming everyone with these findings. Thought I would get some info, then begin there to research. I have alot of work to do lol.

Your not overwhelming anybody. I enjoy looking at something different than the usual "is this a small or large date 1982" type of question.
