Hello - Looking for opinions on the strike and grade for this 1829 Capped Bust Half dollar.

The strike is good. 

The coin has AU details. 

However, it's been harshly polished and cleaned. This reduces the value significantly. If submitted it would receive an "AU details, harshly cleaned" grade.

I don’t think you’ll get noticeably different feedback about the coin here, from what you got on the PCGS forum.

I collect these actively.  That one has AU details, but it looks heavily dipped or cleaned, or otherwise altered in some manner.  Is that a scan?

Looks like the stuff "Fred Sweeny Rare Coins" used to send out as "Gem BU - Beautiful" or with similar adjectives.
