AlmaKing
I'm sending this 1878 Morgan in for grading. Do you think this is a proof? Thanks in advance.
Member: Seasoned Veteran DWLange Posted August 3, 2020 Member: Seasoned Veteran Share Posted August 3, 2020 Though a well struck coin, it doesn't appear to be a proof. Here's the NGC Coin Explorer example for comparison: https://www.ngccoin.com/coin-explorer/morgan-dollars-1878-1921-pscid-49/1878-7tf-rev-of-79-1-pf-coinid-17313
AlmaKing
Thanks. Then I won't have the expense of having it graded. I know it's a 79 reverse, but it's not worth the risk of a low grade. It even shows some signs of wear in the hair, so it looks a bit circulated.
AlmaKing
Sorry to bother you. I have one other coin I was going to submit, an 1897 P Morgan. Do you think this is a Proof? Thanks
