How and can I withdraw a bid on an active auction ? It’s a gold coin that says private issue, smithsonian collection .. it has no serial number to verify . I don’t know if it’s real. I don’t want to pay for it and I am in the lead for a 1/10 ounce gold by a $100.

That would seem to depend upon the auction house's policies, n'est-ce pas?
