1922 silver dollar high relief?

4 posts in this topic

I got a 1922 silver dollar peace coin at a garage sale in an old box with a bunch of old stamps inside, after looking at the coin I can't tell if its high/low relief and if the black stain and markings on it are from casting or picked up over the years, it was stored in a plastic case when I found it.15920682231938960894001065452233.thumb.jpg.f71d2335c6c6b930e70c3c0eabb7833f.jpg

Looks like it was a good strike. That's probably what makes it seem high relief, since so many Peace dollars were so weakly struck.
