since there isn't a 1940 Roosevelt Dime. what is this??

The final digits on both Mercury and Roosevelt Dimes were too close to the border, and deformation or partial filling was the result. Since the 1980s the U. S. Mint has corrected this by reducing the entire image area of the dime obverse so as to move all features away from the border. The resulting "Small Head" dimes strike up much better, but they look odd when compared to the original hub of 1946.

so does this make my dime more valuable or a variety or junk.
