Just Bob
If it were real, you could probably name your own price, assuming it did not get confiscated for being illegally minted. (It would likely take a worker on the "midnight shift" altering dies to make a genuine one). It is most likely an altered coin, made by hollowing one quarter into a thin shell, and milling another one to fit inside the shell. They are commonly called "magician's coins." Greenstang
You can also buy Chinese made two headed or two tail novelty coins for a couple of dollars. I also asked this post be moved to the appropriate forum. This is the Forum for registering coins.
Conder101
There are three real ones, they all came from the same safe deposit box from the San Francisco area that had a lot of other "error" coins that had probably all had help in their creation. Is this the story you are referencing? https://www.coinworld.com/news/us-coins/2017/09/third-known-two-tailed-quarter-makes-appearance.html Quite a bit of intrigue in this! Conder101
I saw the story back in 2001 when the stuff from the box first started showing up including the other two reverse quarters.
