There is the letters E.P.C. On the reverse side

That's mining scrip, I'll bet. A picture of the reverse would be very helpful as well. EPC could stand for Elkhorn Piney Coal Mining in Fayette County, West Virginia...several examples toward the bottom of the page and onto the next: https://tokencatalog.com/display_records.php?SearchString=&SubmitFilter=Search&SearchStringEveryWord=Elkhorn&SearchStringAnyWord=&ImagedOnlyOption=&action=DisplayRecords. None match yours but that is not at all unusual with scrip.

Hmmm. That's not what I was expecting. That's almost stamped like a time token, except on those it's normally the miner's number that was stamped...I wonder if you have one of those. Where did you get it?
