Possible error / misunderstanding re Tunisia 20 Francs WCPG valuations 0

Hello,

I am looking at the WCPC page showing the values of Tunisia 20 Francs KM# 227. 1899 Year.

I am confused and would very much appreciate an explanation.

Why does it state "VF" is $1350 and XF is $325. Looking at the NGC grading scale it states "VF" to be not as good condition as XF.

My apologies if I am missing something here and my question sounds ridiculous!

I imagine this was a clerical error of some sort. I have noticed this before on some British and Irish coins as well. I would email customer service about the issue.

My understanding is that different grades get updated at different times, and maybe the VF was from when anything gold was red hot.
