Hold up @VKurtB, what about oiling up early coppers?  That's considered a conservation technique in that sub-community and recommended by EAC unless I've missed an update on the topic.

Some do it, some swear by it. Others swear AT it. The TPG services will kill you if yours are oiled. It's a commitment to raw collecting. Not that I have a problem with raw collecting, but the OP asked about grades.
