Found this in a roll and just want to know your thoughts. Ik it has some damage, but the rim is like 1/4 inch thick almost. Not all the stuff is there or is cut off as well.

Looks like it has been hammered. I was going to say Dryer Coin but it is not smooth enough. In either case it is PMD

Kinda my thought too. I'm going to keep it just because it is so different.

Making those alterations are the only way it could get into a U.S. cent roll, because the U.K. decimal-era penny is quite a bit larger in diameter to a cent. Not as big as the pre-decimal, you could hurt someone with those, but still bigger.

Just sad, cause they only made like 500k of that coin from what I read

U.K. coins can be a little confusing. Some years they completely skip certain denominations for circulation and the only way to get those years is in uncirculated sets. Especially true in 5p and 10p.
