Picked up an extremely rare variety on Ebay this fine evening!

Chris (Pilliod) had an entire set of the clashes and I believe they holdered them all for him that way.

Could you point out the die clash to a newbie? I don't see it.

 

The mark extends downward from the beak curving 90 degrees to your left and turns abruptly southwest in a straight line. Also, on the right side of the eagle's neck (as you view it) is an inverted "V". If you have a picture of a Flying Eagle 1c, you can see the area of the wreath near the bottom that is responsible for the impression. Remember, the die clash creates an impression on one of the dies that is opposite of how you would view it on the coin...........top-to-bottom and right-to-left.
