EVP's trivia questions too hard

26 posts in this topic

My questions are only hard if you don't have the right reference material. Otherwise, they're not so hard...

It took Cardinal very little effort to answer my questions! smile.gif

EVP last night I had fun going between NGC pop reports and PCGS price guide. It was good practice for me. I will try and post a trivia question tonight. CHRIS

Don't lurk! Try to answer. Do some research -- you're a scientist!

If everyone lurks, then my questions languish from lack of activity. Or, I post to myself which is one step away from speaking to myself. Wouldn't want me to do that, would ya?

Exactly why I lurk! So my observation does not bias the results! laugh.gifgrin.gif

Just remember that when you start asking questions about die marriages, most people here may not have the resource books necessary to answer these questions. That drastically narrows down the pool of potential answers.

Hasn't stopped you in the past. wink.gif

If eveyone started to post trivia questions on what they are collecting. Maybe, just maybe we all could learn something about a series that we don't collect and become intrested in it. CHRIS

Hey Chris,

I have a Ken and Barbie set where the two are engaged in something private. Want me to post a picture? wink.gif

Seriously... I have two female friends who collect Barbie dolls. I can't believe how much they can go for. But, I couldn't say anything because rare coins -- especially the ones I have -- are even more expensive!

Sure post away! Just be sure that Arch does not see it or you will be sitting in the pentaly box with a bunch of the comic guys.

I have seen the prices on some of them and they are up there. The collectables I couldn't understand is the Benie Babys. Because as soon as they were put on the shelf they were collectables. It was like the company that produced them did not make enough for demand. They did this on puorpus. CHRIS

Hi EVillageProwler,

On a serious side, i am amazed by what other people collect. It seems like there is someone who collects just about anything you can think of!

My wife hasn't let me have any more wives. Heck, she wont even let me date. grin.gif

I did collect at ont time or the other, rocks, bottle caps, pop bottles, old glass insulators, baseball cards, comic books, postcards, match books, and tropical fish. I have always collected something!! Thank God, I have narrowed it down to coins and Mississippi Nationals...

Hey BankNote1,

You must be a very brave man to even consider taking on more than one wife. Have you ever thought about having to live with more than one honey do this list, shopping spree's, and all the rest that goes along with keeping a wife happy? shocked.gif

You'll have no more time or money for coins! frown.gif

The art of it is in serial collecting, with no significant past ties. The practicality of it is in keeping your mouth shut! shocked.gifshocked.gifshocked.gifsmirk.gif

tongue.gif Sorry, Hoot.
