Two Austrian Proofs

I figured I'd start with these since they are first alphebetically. Does anyone have an idea on price, and or a good book on foreign coins? The prices seen around the coins are from the 50's I believe.

Alex, according to the Krause book, both coins were restrikes and I have no specific data for that year. Others may.

1915 Austria 100 Corona; Proof; KM #2819; Weight: 33.8753g; Composition: 0.9000 Gold; .9803oz

1915 Austria 4 Ducat; Proof; KM #2276; Weight: 13.9636g; Composition: 0.9860 Gold; .4430oz

If you have alot of foreign coins, you may want to buy this book, 2005 Standard Catalog of World Coins, 1901-Present, 32nd Edition by Chester L. Krause and Clifford Mishler. Trust me, it will save you a lot of time. Similar books are available for the years 1801-1900, 1701-1800, etc. I purchased mine through www.amazon.com

You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.

The 2006 33rd Ed. was on the bookseller tables at the Long Beach show.

Except for recent issues, and the pricing information, the 2005 (or even the 2004, but not the 2003) are just as good, and can often be found new in closeouts, or used, for much less than a new one. Krause values are all over the place anyhow, some being ridiculously high and others being absurdly low, so you wouldn't want to rely on any edition as a price guide.
