2018 Roosevelt dime Sunrays.

I am wondering if these markings are normal/typical for a coin or are this unusual?  They look like sun rays emanating from Roosevelt's head.

The Mint calls that "starburst." It's the face of the die beginning to erode from the center outward. As the lines grow deeper and actually become furrows the die will be repolished to smooth them out and extend its useful life.
