Hi,

I wanted to see if NGC would review / re-evaluate the scores for some of the coins in the New Zealand "Kiwi One Ounce Silver Dollars, 2004-Date, Mint State" category - particularly the 2004, 2005 and 2006 coins relative to the others.

Per this site: https://worldsilverbullion.weebly.com/kiwi.html?fbclid=IwAR2E2S-W4madq7eaJIvqgoeLvUdtKs70qBO6_9zTIlnQjrTFQxsUZhlt7pA

The 2004, 2005, and 2006 coins have issuances of only 2,500-3,000. Some of the later coins in the set, like the 2008, 2009, and 2010 are significantly more common (8,000-12,500). This is also reflected in recently realized prices for the coins on eBay. MS69 2004 and 2005 coins recently realized prices of $300-350 each. The 2006 and 2007 can realize prices of about $150-175. The 2008, 2009, and 2010 tend to go for more in the range of $80-125.

The registry currently awards about a 10% premium for MS70/69 coins from 2004-2006 vs 2008-2010. While it's not nothing, I think there should be a little more of a gap between those scores to account for the relative rarity and cost of the earlier coins in the set.

Thanks.

Thanks.

Thank you for the request, Revenant.

Our team will assess these scores in the near future. (We do not, however, typically utilize eBay as a source NGC Registry scoring.)

I can completely respect that.

Thanks for looking into it either way.
